Consolidated View

How the consolidated view combines data from multiple stores.

Overview

If your organization has two or more active Shopify stores, you can switch to Consolidated View to see metrics aggregated across all of them. Select Consolidated (Beta) from the store dropdown in the sidebar.

Main Store

Every organization has a main store. This is the store that determines:

  • Currency — all secondary store data is converted to the main store’s currency using daily exchange rates.
  • Timezone — date ranges use the main store’s timezone.
  • Product catalog — product names, images, and variant details come from the main store.

By default the main store is the first store added to the organization. You can change it in Settings.

Available Pages

In consolidated mode, the Dashboard, P&L, P&L by Country, Products, and Inventory pages are available. Other pages require a single-store perspective and are disabled while consolidated view is active.

How Inventory Works

In consolidated view, the inventory page shows the main store’s product catalog and stock levels with sales aggregated across all stores.

Products and stock levels come from the main store

The product catalog, variant details, pricing, and inventory quantities (stock on hand) are all pulled from the main store. This is the source of truth for what you carry and how much you have.

Units sold come from all stores

Units sold and sales revenue are aggregated across every store in your organization. Secondary store line items are matched to main store variants by SKU — if a variant in a secondary store shares the same SKU as one in the main store, its sales count toward the same row.

Revenue from secondary stores is converted to the main store’s currency using daily exchange rates, so all monetary values are comparable.

Hidden columns

Some columns are hidden in consolidated view because they can differ between stores and aren’t meaningful when combined:

  • Price
  • Compare at Price
  • Discount
  • Tags
  • Last Price Change
